The Heatkiller® IV VGA series is the result of decades of experience in designing and manufacturing high performance water blocks. We kept the best features of the previous generations and evolved the Heatkiller® IV VGA generation to an even more powerful block!

We continued and evolved the cooling structure over the DIE from our critically acclaimed HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ generation. We reduced both the thickness of the fins and of the cooling plate itself. These measures improved the raw cooling performance of the block.
But we also improved the internal flow paths: we now use a central flow design and high volume channels. The results are great: even though the fins are thinner and the overall structure is bigger, the flow resistance decreased.

The longest copper cold plate that we ever manufactured not only cools the GPU DIE, the voltage regulation modules (VRMs) and the graphic memory (RAM), but also several surrounding components. These include coils, additional MOSFETs and other SMDs.

Massive 8mm copper block of 800grams

The copper coldplate with its 8mm thickness and over 800grams covers the entire PCB. This provides not only superior cooling capabilities, but also improves the block’s aesthetics. The integrated RGB LEDs (Acryl versions only) are completely hidden. The resulting “indirect illumination” further boosts the block’s looks. Our LEDs are compatible with a wide array of controllers and easy to integrate into a preexisting illumination concept.

Thanks to pre-cut thermal pads and isolating spacers, installation of the block is very simple. To connect Multi-GPU Setups, we offer matching SLI/Crossfire connectors (sold separately). A matching backplate is available in the accessory section.

We only use high quality raw materials as the original Plexiglas® GS from EVONIK. All HEATKILLER® components are manufactured on our own CNC machines at the WATERCOOL headquarters in Waren, Germany. Many steps of the process are manual labor and each product is finished under dual control principle. This is truly “Made in Germany”.
