The HEATKILLER® IV PRO for Threadripper™ is a high-end water block, specifically designed for AMD® Ryzen™ Threadripper™ CPUs. Our highly decorated and critically acclaimed HEATKILLER® IV CPU water blocks were the basis for this block.
Perfectly fitted cooling engine for AMD Threadripper
This block’s central highlight is its cooling structure that fits the massive size of the Threadripper™ heatspreader perfectly. But instead of just extending the cold plate, we designed an individual high performance water block for this chip.
Maximum performance, maximum flow rate
Compared to our traditional HEATKILLER® IV PRO, the cooling area of the Threadripper version is more than 80% bigger. Even though the copper cold plate has an enormous size, we manufactured very small cooling fins. Usually, these would reduce the flow rate, but our engineers designed the flow path so cleverly that the flow rate is still extremely impressive.
Easy-Mount, premium manufacturing, Made in Germany
We developed the revolutionary Easy-Mount –System to simplify the installation process. After the first installation, the block can be installed and uninstalled completely tool-less. The system also provides a fixed stop of the installation bolts. A faulty installation is almost impossible with this system.
But the design should also be worthy of a WATERCOOL product. Only the highest quality raw materials combined with the most cutting edge manufacturing technologies make a true HEATKILLER® IV water block. We also took the enormous dimensions of the Threadripper platform in consideration and adjusted the aesthetics to match it perfectly.
