Due to an optimized composition, the Arctic MX-6 thermal compound offers around 20 percent better performance compared to the established Arctic MX-4. This was achieved by a significantly lower thermal resistance. The carbon filler-based thermal paste achieves its maximum performance immediately after application without burn-in.
The composition of the paste makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. Therefore, MX-6 can be used for processor IHS, exposed chips (e.g. GPUs) and even ceramic packages (e.g. DRAM chips). Because of the high viscosity, the paste is easy to handle and in addition MX-6 is not electrically conductive.
